Shooting data: Canon eos 4O D, Canon 1OOmm f2.8 USM, Raynox DCR 250, two external flashes, Yongnuo RF-602RX triggers (recomended!!), and two lumiquest big bounce softboxes

Finally I've managed to shoot this lovely huge creature which has a lovely purple metallic legs. I found that it is a Malaysian heavy jumping spider Hyllus diardi which is possible to find for example in Kuala lumpur, Singapore, Yunnan (China) etc... He is one of the biggest in the world. The adult male has with the legs 48mm (not my one) This one has app 40mm

He is very friendly and he is waiting for a hug :D (how you can see on the photo)

It was quite difficult photoshoot because jumper is very metalic so I had to put the softboxes very close to him to diffuse the light well..
