this is just a simple poll to see which are the most popular Nikon SLRs between nature photographers :)

Hi Juza,
Maybe you could ask a second question,
Which Nikon DSLR would you upgrade to if possible?
Note, that I'm only using the D90 at the moment because I can't afford the D300/D300S.
If I had of done my homework correctly, I may have purchased a S/H D200 instead of the D90.
I am still hoping to find a nice D200 somewhere that I could afford. . . .

Hi, voted for me ;)
I first used a D40x, now I have a D300, too.

Though sensors are very similar, I chose the D300 over the D90 because D200/D300/s can meter exposure with AI-AIS nikkors, which are great lenses very affordable on the second hand market. Just a piece of info that is sometimes overlooked ;)

I have two Nikon cameras that I use, the 1st is my old Nikon d70 and my new one is the Nikon D300s. Love them both...

The results make for interesting reading - especially compared to the Canon poll as it seems us Nikon shooters are WAY out numbered (runs off to hide).

I bought the D90 last summer before a trip to Europe and have been very happy with it.

I use a D300s as my primary and D5000 for when I need a strange angle and can't use the viewfinder. In my opinion the D5000 is the only Nikon worth using for video. I use it rarely but it's light years better than the video on D90 or D300s.
