Been trying for a while to get one of these guys, eventually one came close enough. Needed to clone a touch of bright snow though :|

You did well to capture this image, Tree Creepers are very difficult to capture as they are so quick. These guys can walk up and not down as opposed to the nuthatch which can walk both up and down.
Kind regards,

You caught a very nice detail here, showing him poking around in the tree. Nice smooth bg too.

Man i love treecreepers, theyre awesome birds but I agree really difficult to get close to. There is some great detail in the feathers and a nice glint in his/her eye. Nicely done.

Excellent image, not a bad advert for a 300f2.8+2XTC with that detail either. Not that you had any control over this, but if these birds are like our tree creepers their oversize feet and claws are great to see as well.

Beautiful birdy indeed. Looks like having a beak made of glass... :-) Such a fragile little creaturein such a tremendous pose, detail, colour with virtually flawless background... NICE! :-)

Cheers dude. The beak is infact pretty opaque, just matches the BG. The BG at the moment is a pain as snow hangs off trees and blows shots :(

neat bird pic Neil - I think Rylo meant the beak is reflecting as though glazed or polished, one of the things I found unusual and attractive too

I see, must be all that snow it kept sticking it in!
