Shooting data: Canon 7D, Sigma 120-300 f/2.8, Sigma TC 1.4X, hide, tripod, iso 800, f/8, 1/250, 420mm

Here is my best Kingfisher photo, was taken a month ago, in Portugal.

Great capture, Humberto! The detail, colors, and composition are very nice. What sets this image apart IMO is the insect in the beak and the foliage on the right. One to be proud of.

Hi John,
thanks for the comment, the "Alcedo" has no insect on the beak, he has a fish that lives in small rivers here in Portugal and Spain its name is Cobitis paludica

Great shot, I like the pose and the prey in the bill along with a live perch instead of a dead twig.
Could I suggest you try Shadows Highlights - just the Highlights say 13% and about Amount 40 followed by tiny increase in contrast.
